Milestones

• The founders of Brudy, with an extended trajectory as producers of compound fodder, started to research on the possibility of a compound fodder that allowed producing eggs with low cholesterol content.

• The existence of the ALGATRIUM algae was discovered. After that, the reproduction system of this algae and the right of exploitation in several European, Asian and South American countries was patented. BRUDY was born.

• In 1995, the BRUDY brand was registered entirely with capital belonging to Spanish shareholders.

• The first BRUDY product, egg enriched with DHA Algatrium, was presented in March 1996 coinciding with the celebration of the main food exhibition in the country, Alimentaria.

• Coinciding with its launch, the first production and marketing agreement for BRUDY products was established with the Matines Group, which encompasses the top egg producers in Spain.

• In June 1996, the product was presented in a press conference.

• In October 1996, BRUDY eggs were launched in Portugal, with the respective communications campaign.

• Distribution in Andorra began in November 1996, and production and sales agreements were reached very quickly with distributors in various Asian and Latin American countries.

• The Prize for the best food product introduced in Europe was obtained in 1996, in Paris.

• In June 1996, Brudy was awarded a prize for the best business initiative, by Aijec in Barcelona.

• The development of new product was initiated in 1997, after having consolidated the launch of the eggs.

• In November 1998, BRUDY chicken was launched in Portugal, enriched with DHA Algatrium, reaching 10% of Portuguese distribution within 4 months.

• January 1999, obtained the "Young European Entrepreneur" award in Spain and selected for the European final, which was held at the end of that same year.

• In 2000, the company started to attend International Trade Shows of the chemical, pharmaceutical and dietetic

supplements sectors.

• In June 2000, the Brudy sausage was lunched in Portugal under the Primor company.

• The Brudy lamb was launched in Spain in February 2001 with the Salucarne company. And in March that year, the BRUDY pate was launched with the same company. In May this year, Arroyofrio launched the pork product.

• Finalist of the “Entrepreneur of the Year” Award, organized by the economic information newspaper Cinco Dias.
